Why Perth? That's the question that everyone from Australia asks me. That's sort of scary. But, I did it out of financial necessity. I'll be saving a ton of money going to Perth instead of, say, Melbourne.

Art scene. Like, little indie venues or full on art galleries. I don't know anything about the city, but I know I love art! I figured a talented one like you would be in on that sort of thing!

Perth is the city that always sleeps, haha. Definitely the least cultured city in Australia
I guess I'm not too in with the art scene, I just finished school where I studied art and I'm not pursuing it any further
The perth art gallery has some good stuff, which is right next to the train station in Perth. My street scene painting is up there in Perspectives until the end of the year if you want to look and there's alot of other young artist's work there. There's some smaller obscure galleries and shops in Fremantle and Northbridge, I recommend you go to both of those places

Ha, I think I come from one of those sleepy cities too. Midland, Texas is the hometown of president Bush. Let me assure you, culture is an integral part of Midland society.

(We do have good barbecue...)

I'll definitely check out those places you mentioned. I won't be in Perth until Feb., so I'll probably miss your art. That's a shame!
